Recognising and encouraging youngsters
Brigade Group instituted the annual, state-wide Young Achiever Award, in association with Rotary Bangalore Midtown, in 2006. The award has been instituted to recognise and encourage the achievements of young people in professional, cultural, social or other specific areas of endeavour.
The award is open to both individuals and teams. The only mandatory requirement is that applicants have to be below 25 years of age and residents of Karnataka.
This is not a competition, but recognition of the proven and demonstrable achievements of an individual / team. The selected individual / team receives a cash prize of Rs 100,000, accompanied by a trophy and a citation, at an awards ceremony in Bangalore. All entries will be evaluated by a jury comprising eminent personalities from different fields.
