It is worth noting that there are over 200 heritage sites in Bangalore and the tersm 'heritage' includes lakes, parks, hills, groves, buildings and structures.

At Brigade Group, we have always believed in maintaining a sustainable balance between what is and what has to be. Which is why we factor the preservation of trees into the design of our projects. And plant and nurture trees in and around our project sites whenever possible.

After paintings, photographs, and sculptures, we directed our focus towards the building walls. A plain wall is canvas for the myriad palette of human imagination. Brigade projects have played host to an unique alchemy where the confluence of inspiration and creativity resulted in walls being crafted into murals by twelve talented hands. Renowned during the Renaissance period, murals were the end result of the artist’s efforts to blend perspective and architecture to create illusory effects.

The calendar features the work of C. Rajagopal, a pictorialist of world renown. Rajagopal is a photographer of original talent who has established his own standard in international photography; this is a rare and refreshing phenomenon in the context of an Indian artist practising in a modern medium. Rajagopal has in fact created his own genre known as the “line of light” photography. In this calendar, photographs by Rajagopal portray the placid and pastoral Bangalore of the ‘40s and ‘50s

The sculptors are done by six renowned sculptors of Karnataka. The sculptures are made of stone, wood and bronze respectively. Three of the sculptures are traditional and their artistic heritage dates back several centuries. The other three belong to contemporary school: one is abstract form, indefinable, but imbued with deep sensitivity; the second conveys a powerful social message; while the third is endearingly simple and whimsical. Each evokes its own dialogue with the viewer.
