Brigade Real Estate Accelerator Program (REAP) 1st Batch of Startups handed over to the Real Estate Industry

Brigade REAP, India’s first startup accelerator program with a focus on the real estate industry had its “Demo Day” or “Handover Day”, marking the completion of its first batch, at the World Trade Center, Bangalore on 28 February 2017. M R Jaishankar, CMD - Brigade was the Keynote Speaker for the event.
Brigade REAP launched in October 2016 with over 125 startups applying for the program. After two rounds of intense jury selection, 5 startups were shortlisted and inducted into the program.
The startups went through a rigorous four month mentorship program before they were handed over to the real estate industry to promote their products and services.
The “Handover Day” saw participation from representatives of the real estate industry and senior leaders from the corporate world who spoke about technologies impacting real estate. The two panel sessions were well received & focussed on “What are the challenges that technology can address for the real estate industry” & “Is REaltech ready for disruption?”
The startups graduating from Brigade REAP made presentations on their business to the audience that included eminent developers from the real estate industry, investors, HNIs, other startup founders and top management of global corporates along with good representation from the media.
